Origins: Genesis

This piece celebrates the vibrant colors brought about by the ultra hard light here in Curaao. The sunlight is very intense due to the proximity of the island to the equator. This has inspired many of my color choices as an artist and has formed the palette I use in my artwork along the years. The combination of colors found around me is often abrupt and shocking rather than harmonious or subtle.
