Origins: Genesis

This work centers on the portrayal of characters that I often find in my work, namely the balance of man and nature. The hair of this subject suggests tree branches or roots that draw on my predisposition toward nature.
 
 This limited-edition NFT is the only version that remains after the original work was destroyed in a devastating fire that burned down my art workshop in Guadeloupe on June 10, 2021. My portfolio of more than 5,000 physical artworks, created over 20 years, was completely lost in the fire. But I have been reborn and hope for better days despite adversity. Sales of the NFTs in the Origins collection will help the next phase of my career in paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures and film.
