The Origins: Genesis project is a fundraiser to launch Expressions, a community-driven creativity platform and social marketplace for digital and physical goods. Origins will showcase works by creatives in underrepresented communities around the world. 100% of the proceeds go to the artists and nonprofits. Origins: Genesis

For many centuries, in the ancient Near East, the bull was worshipped as an authoritative god who controlled some aspect of nature. The bull was the god of fertility, god of the sun, god of thunder, god of strength  the overpowering god who controlled the universe. I decided to tell the visual story of "El Toro" in a very colorful way that draws from ancient symbolism for our modern times. This is the digital version of an original work on canvas.
