TREY RATCLIFF: 1K1K PROJECT

While in the southern town of Lijiang, I came upon this creature in the evening. Maybe you know the legend of this... maybe it is better to make up your own legend than to have me tell you everything about it... or, perhaps one of you intrepid explorers in the community can tell us all what is going on here!

This was one of those evenings when I decided to roam around with only my 50mm F/1.4 Leica lens. It"s one of those challenges I give myself. I tend to lean more toward the wide-angle landscape or cityscape shots, even though I love this just as much. Sometimes by forcing constraints on myself, I enter a different mindset and am able to find and recognize completely different sorts of scenes.
