To celebrate our community, we have curated a show that showcases a wide range of artistic backgrounds and styles, including generative pieces, photography, hand-drawn works, and more. PROOF is dedicated to sharing the stories behind all of these collections. Diamond Exhibition is just the beginning of how Moonbirds will connect with these pieces and their creators.

Evolving Pixels is an exhibition centered around the theme of growth. The show invites a set of diverse digital artists who work with computational technologiesnamely, generative or AI-assistedto investigate what growth means to them. 

PROOF has partnered with Art Blocks and Venus Over Manhattan to bring Evolving Pixels to life. The long-form generative collections in the exhibition are being delivered with the Art Blocks Engine. From April 12-24, Venus Over Manhattan will display Evolving Pixels at their Soho gallery in New York City.

PROOF Curated: Evolving Pixels

100-line generative poem written by Pushcart-nominated poet Sasha Stiles and her AI-powered alter ego, Technelegy  a custom text generator rooted in GPT that Stiles has been training and collaborating with since 2018. This poem was written line by line, token by token, using p5.js as the page. Starting from Edition 1  the title  each subsequent edition represents the growth and accretion of the poem from lines 0 through 100, with the final edition containing the entire text.

Ellen von Unwerths thirty-year storied career defined the aesthetic of the 90s and 2000s and has made her a staple of fashion photography. Crafting cinematic scenarios for her shoots, Von Unwerths flashy, kinky, and humorous photographs invite viewers to come along on a boisterous escapade. By furnishing each of her subjects with a new persona to inhabit, she allows their inhibitions to melt away. The story telling aspect in her creative process has allowed her to create images that are never static and begs the question, what is really going on here? The inherent sexuality in her images is never without fun, and the subjects within her works are always powerful - positioned in control of their sex appeal.

HENI is delighted to present The Currency, the first NFT collection by Damien Hirst. Reimagining the way NFTs are used, The Currency is a collection of 10,000 NFTs which correspond to 10,000 unique physical artworks which are stored in a secure vault in the UK. The works are now brought to life through their launch on the blockchain.

Starting with the creation of the physical artworks in 2016, The Currency explores the boundaries of art and currencywhen art changes and becomes a currency, and when currency becomes art. Successful applicants will all initially receive NFTs. Ultimately, you have to decide between the digital NFT or the physical artwork, both of which are artworks in their own right. Whichever you pick, the other gets burned.

The collection is on the Palm blockchain, which is a new token-powered ecosystem for NFTs connected to Ethereum. It is 99% more energy efficient than proof of work systems such as Ethereum or Bitcoin. The Currency NFTs can be moved to Ethereum.

I had never been to Coney Island before and a friend brought me over for the day. It wasn"t really what I expected, and I was pleasantly surprised. People seemed to be having a good time, but it wasn"t the typical kind of beach you would find in Florida or whatever. They didn"t seem to mind though... just like every other beach, there were horrible children running around. I guess the biggest difference was other parents yelling "Get Outttta Heeeyaaaa!"

Khuwab ki Tabeer Interpretation of a Dream is Maliha Abidis latest series.

This fifth part (exclusively for Quantum Keyholders) of the series advances the narrative as the protagonist reflects and comes face to face with her inner fearlessness.

The full collection of 5 NFTs illustrates the story of a South Asian girl and all the things she dreams about because to her, there is no limit, restrictions, or barriers that stand in her way of achieving any of it.

Each of the unique pieces celebrate Malihas Pakistani-American artistic heritage through use of distinct elements native to Pakistans culture. The series reminds us of our younger selves, reminding us that in dreams, we can imagine what we want to be, and how to facing challenges emboldens us.

Hearst Castle is a must-visit if you are ever taking a trip down the California coast. It"s absolutely a spectacle and cool to think about how fun it must have been to be here during the heyday. I"ve heard you can rent out this pool and have parties. It would probably cost a pretty penny, but I"m sure an epic time would be had by all!

While in the southern town of Lijiang, I came upon this creature in the evening. Maybe you know the legend of this... maybe it is better to make up your own legend than to have me tell you everything about it... or, perhaps one of you intrepid explorers in the community can tell us all what is going on here!

This was one of those evenings when I decided to roam around with only my 50mm F/1.4 Leica lens. It"s one of those challenges I give myself. I tend to lean more toward the wide-angle landscape or cityscape shots, even though I love this just as much. Sometimes by forcing constraints on myself, I enter a different mindset and am able to find and recognize completely different sorts of scenes.

Carbon emissions are here to stay; they'll stain my canvas, no matter how green the colours on my palette."

Verse Works

By placing our trust in any of the "future techs" to solve todays environmental problems, we run the risk of postponing the actions that mattered. Carbon capture is one of those technologies weve engaged in to give us an impression of action; perhaps, unconsciously, in order to cover up our anguish, our helplessness or our guilt. 

Yet we need to keep moving forward. Art has this kind of energy, charismatic and unifying. If I believe little in technology to save humanity, I keep hope in humanity, in its conscience, in the universality of its love. If only one power is given to artists, it is that of being able to touch, sometimes, the hearts of men.
