The Oddback Whales long ago gathered their tribe to decide their fate; they could no longer ignore the growing darkness spreading through the verse. They fought for several eons, combating the evil that seemingly never slept, never ate, and never ran out of resources. After an eternity of battle the Oddback Whales gathered the last of their race - very few are left of this once prosperous species. With the end of their species imminent they were forced to admit defeat and retreated from the battlefield. Weary and heart sore, they knew there was only one way they could bring back balance. The new goal of the Oddbacks was to travel in pods to the far reaches of the verse to protect creatures in need, saving those in danger of falling into the shadows. Now the pods are being called to a small, seemingly innocuous planet - drawn by the cries for help of those fighting against the flood. The Oddback Whales are gathering, they are drawing strength, they are mobilizing for one final fight to save the adorable cuboids and push back the rising tide before the darkness covers all.
