Kerala is home to some of the most beautiful and remarkable art styles in the world. Theyyam, which originated in North Kerala, is a well-known ritual and art form that personifies mythical tales. Theyyam uses mime, dance, music, and dancing to tell tales from the past and transport the audience to another world. There are around 400 distinct forms of Theyyam, each with its unique style, melody, and dance.

A portrait of Thai Paradevatha theyyam is depicted here. Thai Paradevatha (goddess) is a version of Kali, the symbol of ultimate power. It is claimed that the goddess was incarnated to slay the evil spirit Darikan. Artists, dressed in elaborate costumes and extensive makeup, create quite a visual impact on audiences. The dance, together with the decorations and headgear, is so grand and powerful that it inspires feelings of awe, respect, and even dread.

Inside Out, Pt.1

Thousands of makeshift homes in the world"s largest refugee camp are captured in this incredible aerial photograph. The array of red, green, and white homes, which house more than 1,000,000 refugees who are fleeing terrifying violence, can be seen sprawling for miles in these amazing drone shots. Million Rohingya refugees are living in Kutupalong Rohingya camp near Cox"s Bazar, Bangladesh. They made small homes, tents, and houses to survive their lives.

Thematically this monochromatic collection is about taking slices from my own personal life that are actually quite mundane but adding some theatricality to it and visually elevated them into a myth  - primarily to entertain myself and create intriguing works of art.
