Of all the kids in tribes I saw in Papua New Guinea, these cats were the strangest.

They shave all their heads down the middle but leave a little fro on the sides. They all look like mini George Jeffersons.

I don"t think this kid was actually gonna shoot an arrow at me, but he was looking at me a bit suspiciously. I was smiling a lot and didn"t feel an eminent threat, but you never know. I smiled at them enough and did silly things to lighten the mood before taking the photos, but as you can see, they were still ready to pounce just in case...
