A chronicle of elements, 
A manifest of the earth.  
Of shifts and stillness, 
Shadow and light. 

Wrinkles of time engraved in the mountain face  
Display a rorschach of the human soul. 
A reflection of self, 
A reminder of our existence in space and time.  

No matter where the mind may stray, 
Here, the heart is drawn back to earth.  
And light that sparkles along the snow  
Presents the silver lining, 
Guiding our ascent.
