Dark is gritty, distasteful

You consider bad

Maybe light is all the good,

That is left in your head

But why does it get dark

 &nbsp; 
When you close your eyes

 &nbsp; 
When you go to sleep

 &nbsp; 
Leaving behind all your sighs

 &nbsp; 
Tell me how is dark worrisome 

 &nbsp; 
Why you never ever wait, for it to come home

 &nbsp; 


 &nbsp; 
Tell me what the light gives you 

 &nbsp; 
As a bribe?

 &nbsp; 
Why it takes all your pride?

 &nbsp;

 &nbsp; 
You judge people, based on lies

 &nbsp; 
Based on your assumptions, based on your bias

 &nbsp; 
You do it all, in broad day light

 &nbsp; 


 &nbsp;

In dark you resent your mistakes

And try to work on them

 &nbsp; 
In dark you see your real self

 &nbsp; 
And try to embrace yourself

In dark you learn to pick yourself up

In dark you have a better look

 &nbsp; 
No bias, no lies, no judging, no ties

Just tell me how it is bad,
