This artwork is part of the "Summer of Max" collection, where I invited fans of Max to share with me their stories, interests, and aspirationswhich I then used as inspiration for building Max's world.

This piece was inspired by Brownie Box in London. Earl the Giraffe is taking a ride in Max and visiting his friends, Moonie the Formosan Black Bear and Artie the Arctic Snow Fox at their favorite cake and coffee shopand grabbing a dozen brownies, of course! And if you look closely, David the Crab is hiding underneath the shop for some needed shade!
