It was 4AM when we got out of our sleeping bags. The sky was clear & the night was cold at an altitude of 2136m. Our goal: the Gran Cir with a height of 2592m. We put our headlamps on & started our adventure at the foot of the mountain where the via ferrata began. After a strenuous hour of 400m vertical climbing to the top with very little light, we were greeted by a mesmerizing sunrise & mountain layers as far as the eye could see.
