This piece is very near and dear to my heart because I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks like many people. I've included several pieces of symbolism in this piece to represent living with and struggling with anxiety.

-The arrows represent the ups and downs in life

-The open eyes represent the pressure that we feel in this world, while the closed eyes represent trying to block out the world and the noise. Sometimes its just too much

-The beating heart symbolizes that fast heart beat you feel when youre overly anxious and you know that a panic attack is near

-I also added in a reapers scythe to represent our own mortality and the impending doom that we feel is always near

-The abstract bird and flower are objects that ground us and they are reminders for us to slow down
