Gazes of the future looks at how we can simply gaze into the future, for these young ones as well, all they can do for now is simply gaze. We imagine, not only for ourselves but for our young ones as well, what will they be? artists? lawyers? We imagine the endless possibilities that lie ahead for them. The unique paths they'll take, some of us wait with clenched feet, the challenges waiting for them. For me, navigating adulthood has to be my biggest fear for them. There is no manual, or one size fits all advice handbook to give to them and say "here, take this! life will be better when you read this". So I dedicate this piece to us and them, to us for being in the future we once gazed into (and doing amazing!), and to them, knowing they will do just fine!
