A drone, a light, an astronaut suit, a never-ending salt flat and a little imagination.
This image is the result of a little experiment I'd been wanting to try for a while: attaching a small light to the bottom of a drone and capturing the light trail as the drone moves, highlighting the subject and creating an otherworldly light. All of these elements, combined with the vastness of the salt flats, a starry sky, and the astronaut suit as the icing on the cake, resulted in one of my favorite images ever. No major Photoshop alterations. I can't forget to mention that this image is the result of a collaborative effort by a few people who came together to accomplish the mission.
