About the artist

Iigo Bilbao (1975) lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. Specialized in 3D image, 3D scanning and experimental medical imaging, he has worked with laser scanners, medical scanners and X-ray machines.  
Although his work has focused on the relationship between art, science and technology, his current experimentation with AI generated image has taken him closer to science fiction or horror.  
Exhibited internationally at Ars Electronica (Linz), Transmediale (Berlin), Mima Museum (Brussels) and LABoral (Spain)
