Artist Note: Dancing Daphne - Daphne Oram was a hugely innovative, British composer and musician. She was one of the first British composers to produce electronic sound.This is my tribute to her. I have remade her front room by using a similar cut and paste style with 3D assets. Daphne was modelled in VR, animated, textured and lit in Cinema 4D, composited in After Effects. I composed and performed the looping music in true Oram-style using Synth One and Garage Band. I kind of thought that Daphne would, in private, have boogied on down to the music in the comfort of her front room. Daphne! Thank you for the music!
