1 Year Stoic Celebration

Dear Stoics,

As we celebrate our one year anniversary as a community I wanted to let you all know how incredibly grateful I am for each and every one of you. The resilience shown by this community is nothing short of inspiring.

In the past year we have endured hacks, wars, FTX and Luna collapses, a mass exodus of Web3 artists, along with constant FUD from traditional media (see: headlines like 95% of NFTs are now worthless). There have been countless times when it would have been easy to just blame someone or something outside of our control and leave Web3. Instead you have kept focusing on what was in your control, promoting great art, building new relationships, developing a culture that embraces technology and connection.

As we enter year 2, I am more passionate than ever. I am excited to keep growing with all of you. I am excited to leverage our talents as a community to better the world. Please keep going. I want to hear your passions and ways we can help you along in your Web3 journey. When we stay connected we become an unstoppable force.

The Stoic Balloons captured in this piece are more than just art; they represent our journey, and only time will reveal the incredible heights we can reach together.

It all began in 1987 when I gifted my first art to a friend. Since then, I've shared my art with as many friends as possible. Inspired by the Web3 community, Im happy to announce my limited Open Edition, FRENS. Its dedicated to friends I've made, and art I've created in real life. The collection is one piece with infinite color palettes of the same piece; all are 1/1 although some are much more rare.
Over the past two years, I've met many of you. Starting with Clubhouse in 2021, we forged friendships during the pandemic. As the world re-opened, our journey continued to events nationwide. I shared my art with Frens at each place through drawings and live paintings.   Last fall, we built a vibrant and supportive community with my project, The Stoics. We learned Art always wins.
All of these experiences inspired me to create FRENS. With this limited open edition, you will receive unique artwork, just like my live drawings. Art is for celebration. Art is for gratitude. Art is for Frens.
