Smartphone addiction can affect our physical and mental health, our relationships and our productivity. Thats because, just like drug or gambling addictions, smartphones provide an escape from reality.
Cell phones used to just be communication tools. Now, theyre GPS, cameras, gaming consoles, health trackers, and the list goes on. We turn to our devices for everything   from waiting in line at the grocery store or reading the news, to filing our taxes or controlling the thermostat. We dont just use our smartphones for everything  we rely on them.

Its time to acknowledge that our devices can negatively impact our lives  and we have to make a change.

In this first artwork of the Smartphone Addiction Collection, created in 2018, a young guy with earphones is absorbed in his phone.
Created exclusively thanks to the use of a smartphone, all my artworks are intended to represent a product and at the same time an antidote to Homo Digitalis.

Beyond time and space, in the silence and darkness of the Oneiric Ocean, a series of inaccessible and uninhabitable islands are revealed as apparitions, characterized by daring, surprising and colorful geometric shapes.

Lavoval is one of these remote islands, located outside the boundaries of sense and rationality, which offers itself, immutable and imperturbable, to our ecstatic contemplation.
