This project is an experiment about composability in NFTs. The pieces are generated on mint, using instructions from Autoglyphs together with random characteristics. Autoglyphs were chosen because they're the first and most important generative art project, fully contained on-chain, which allows deeper composability. Two pieces generated from the same generator will not be equal.
The artwork consists of lines that are carefully spread across the canvas. This project is an ode to shapes derived from round-ended lines and complexity from chaos. It has inspiration from microscopic nature and movement.

Edifice by Ben Kovach

"Edifice" is a series of 976 massive, deteriorating structures built on strange terrain. It is an exploration of buildings being conceptualized, constructed, and eroded away under a wide variety of conditions. Edifice"s outputs run the gamut between minimal and maximal, with some showing few large, static blocks of color, and others many small, highly textured and warped shapes. Each image is progressively constructed in front of the viewer"s eyes. It is a system full of surprises that I"m excited to share with the world.

I moved to my new house. The first early morning I was to go to work (I used to teach), I saw the boy next door standing in front of the Apartment complexs entrance awaiting the school bus, he was sleepy yet trying to stay awake. This became a daily routine for me and him. The only thing we had in common was the sleepiness and a hello and greeting we exchanged for the sake of being courteous. Those days I was reading the Kafkas Metamorphosis book, I was anticipating for the boy next door and I to turn into beetles, the chances of which were slim as another part of my life was art which was my savior from the daily routines. But the boy next door was hypnotized. The universal and global hypnosis that has turned everyone into machines. After a while I decided to paint a portrait of the hypnotized boy next door. The boy next door with those sleepy eyes he was trying so hard to keep open.
