Take a step into this Haus (House) that we"ve built and see this glorious trophy room of ours. 

Navigating through Web 3 has been an interesting and inspired experience. It is a journey that has altered my life (for the better) in a way that will be with me till the end of my time. Web 3 has created the opportunity to for me to reconnect with old family and build a new one. Every week for the past 7 months I commune with an amazing group of "Aliens" in a space we"ve grown to call home, known as Future Surf Radio. The things we have been able to accomplish together are nothing short of remarkable and I"m grateful to find myself in community with such beautiful collective of people. We laugh, we cry, we sing, we support, we affirm and we create together in Future Surf and most importantly we lead with love. 

"For The Family" is a song I created during our 50th Episode of FSR as an ode to my loved ones and the community we"ve built. This was directly inspired by all of the members and most specifically my good brother, Miles Ryan Harris, who lit the fire under me. To some this may just be really good "raps" but for those who know (IYKYK), this is a reminder of the power of love. There are so many people who have graced the Future Surf space that I wasn"t able to mention or incorporate into the song but know that you forever have my heart.
On days when the weight of the world is crushing me, I know that I have a place to go where I"m loved and embraced and supported. It"s knowing this that keeps me ground and keeps me going.

My brother June Jissle is a genius in every sense of the word. Last June when he dropped his instrumental EP, "June Le Fox" I immediately connected with this instrumental on the project and within 15 mins of hearing it I recorded this interpretation of what I got from the song. 

"This song is for the lovers in a little city building dreams of a world bigger than life with visions of seeing their stars in the walk of fame."

My journey on sound & my true genesis into Web 3 begin with "Affirmations"

Affirmations is the foundational piece I created as a reminder to myself (and anyone who would listen) to not only LIVE in but THRIVE in my purpose. Things have been nothing short of amazing for me the past year in Web 3. A large part of my purpose is community building. I"ve built relationships in a short period of time that feel like they"ll last a lifetime and for this I"m beyond grateful. 

One of the first people to show genuine love to me in this space is none other than my brother, Samurai D3f! (D3fbot). Samurai is one of the most sincere and giving people that I know. The guy is incredible and thats goes before you get to any of his numerous talents. It"s because of Samurai that I"m a member of the Loser Club. It"s because of Samurai (and Papi & GRL) that I can call The Outsiders family. It"s because of Samurai that I"m a ZIPSHARK! Thank you brother! 

At every turn Samurai is always impressing me whether it"s with his production or his incredible visual artwork or just his commitment to supporting the people around him.

It"s because of D3fb0t"s nature that this "Retwist" of Affirmations was born and I couldn"t think of a better way to pay it back to him and pay it forward by bringing him on board to Sound as we close the year.

In My Mind

I wrote "In My Mind" as a way to express my struggles with mental illness and depression that Ive dealt with for most of my life. It was a cathartic process, to put into words the thoughts and feelings that had been swirling inside my head for so long. It wasn"t until I started writing this song that I truly realized the extent of how freeing it felt to transmute that energy. 

I put my heart and soul into this song, and I hope that it will resonate with others who have struggled as well. I want people to know that they are not alone in their struggles and that there is always hope for a better tomorrow. The song ends with a sense of hope, and it"s the message I want to convey, that no matter how hard it gets, there"s always a way to break free from the depression and find the strength to move forward.

"IN MY MIND" is a very raw and personal song that I hope will bring comfort to those who need it, and remind them that even in the darkest days, there"s always hope for a better tomorrow.

Love Again

Imagine you could go back and tell your 17-year-old self Im good enough as I am. Imagine what couldve been one of lifes biggest failures turning into triumph.

Many moons ago as a senior in high school I was given the task of completing an exit project, where I would research poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning and one of her works and write about it. My English teacher was very vague with instructions and it left me feeling lost. So I procrastinated. Why? I started reading at a year and a half, I went to gifted and talented schools my whole life, why was this challenging? The me of today (post a late stage ADHD, Anxiety disorder diagnosis) would reach out for clarity and understanding of expectations.

But the me then who knew more than I gave her credit for, turned to music. The one constant, the one bit of clarity even when nothing else fell into place. I thought I knew the person Id love forever and while that is not true- I did know then how profound, forgiving, patient and other worldly love was and still is. 

So I wrote Love Again but never turned in my project OR the song. I just knew it wasnt good enough. I Technically flunked high school. As a result I had to do a semesters worth of English projects in one week to graduate on time. And did.

This recording was created 2years later @ 19 years old. The first song I ever wrote recorded, vocal produced, and co produced with my brother B. Sharpe. I was good enough then. And Im good enough now.

It takes tremendous shadow work, to reach back into the past, and soothe the pain of a younger self. That is the point of life. That is the point of love.

War Games

If there"s one thing that Web3 has taught me, it"s that there is strength in vulnerability. I"ve always been the type to keep my needs to myself and figure out how to solve my problems on my own. In many instances, all while being the problem solver for everyone else. I"ve realized that pouring from an empty cup is a counterproductive practice and downright unhealthy. 

For those who don"t know, I have been a full time creative since 2009. I rely heavily on my computer to bring my ideas to life. From graphic design, video editing, marketing and recording music, my Macbook pro is a critical tool in my creative process. Unfortunately, my current computer is on its last leg and I am in desperate need of a new one.

This is why I am launching this open edition mint for "War Games", with a goal of raising 1.9 ETH to fund the purchase of a new system with the specs that will be able to handle my current and future work load. By minting "War Games", you will not only be owning a piece of my of story told through art, but also enabling me to continue to bring my creative vision to life for the foreseeable future. 

I will be airdropping a special token called "The SunFlower That Grew" to the top 10 collectors of "War Games". This token is an art collaboration between myself with my the incredibly talented, SAIKO. 

"War Games" is ode to resilience and finding strength even while in the face of adversity. As a child my mother always used to tell me that I was covered by the higher power and that I am the sunflower that grew. At the darkest times Ive found my way back to the light. I hope that this energy resonates with you.

High Tide

Tides represent a renewal of energy. High Tide is indicative of exactly that for this moment in my career as an artist and even more so as an early participant in web3. 

High Tide exists as a stream of consciousness reflecting on my journey this far in web3; things I"ve observed, people I love, and things I simply don"t like.

Soul Food Aint Fast Food.

SoulFood (a recorded I originally co-produced with my brothers Ashton Woods & HeizenBURR!) is a song that changed my life. My good friend Rascal took it upon himself to surprise me with a remix to this staple in catalog and the flip has been stuck in the vault for some time now. As we embark on Art Basel to expand this world we're building here in web 3, it only felt right to give you all something to move your bodies and feed your soul.
