After years of learning all I could about depression, I came across the work of Johann Hari some years ago. According to him, majority of depression is just unmet needs & disconnection. This was a rather refreshing take for me. If depression is disconnection, it"s remedy has to be connection to at least some degree. I figured that I need to find a community if I am to ever crawl out of this hole. I wanted to know what it feels like to not wake up with a black hole in my chest. 
After years of searching, I ended up here. When I look back at 2022, this community has been front & center. It has made me want to make art again, made me believe that my voice matters, made me feel like I belong. It has made me want to live again. Every experience I"ve had here, whether good or bad; every person I"ve met here, whether they like me or not, has all been worth it. Regardless of how you feel about me, if we have ever spoken, I want to thank you for being a part of my life. 

This is my love letter to the NFT community.

I don"t know if this artwork represents surrendering to the light. I don"t know if it tells the story of giving into the luminous siren call of giving up the fight. Maybe it"s both. Maybe it"s neither. Maybe it"s something entirely different. Here, I am just the messenger, and the message is for you to decipher.
