An NFT one-year anniversary special edition Ice Shack NFT.  
Limited edition of 25.  
Captured on Kodak Portra 800 film with a Mamiya 7ii camera.

When winter comes, the Ice Shacks begin to appear on the frozen ice of the lakes & rivers of Canada.

To capture these photographs, I put on my nordic skis, and head out onto the ice with my camera.  
Sometimes I find a solitary shack miles from any other, other times l come across a whole cluster of them, like a tiny village on a barren landscape.

The Ice Shack series is an ongoing multi-year project, with the aim of eventually creating a photobook.

Migration

Migration is an AI stop-motion piece highlighting the flight cycle of a butterfly. 

The butterfly, often considered a spirit symbol, serves as a bridge between the Heavens and the Earth. Simultaneously, the AI technology used symbolizes a pinnacle in human innovation, anchoring the piece firmly in the realm of the Terrestrial.

Created using 300+ prompts generating intricate still images. Then, each piece was hand-stitched together giving the butterfly access to the fourth dimension, time.
