Chapter 1 of my journey into web 3 began with three small batch editions of Music NFTs. If you"re a holder of this NFT it most likely means you joined me during that time, so welcome aboard. This is a collectors item and represents a moment in my personal web 3 history. 

The medley you hear starts with "Meet Me On The Lake" - my first ever Music NFT, 10 editions and a national radio debut on BBC Radio Scotland. Next comes "Low Light" a small, peaceful song from 2020 which found its way into many hearts on Twitter space performances and was subsequently dropped as 20 editions. Finally, this trilogy of tracks is completed by "In The Smoke", my genesis drop on SoundXYZ.

Hey there!  Im Felice LaZae and Im a producer, singer/songwriter, performer, and audio engineer. My influences include R&B, Soul, and Rock 'n' Roll - creating a unique, alternative, soulful sound. Ive worked with Kanye West, The Killers, and many more. I love performing and Ive had the opportunity to sing all over the world from Paris Fashion Week to the Lincoln Center in New York to Art Basel in Miami. Ive also performed on TV including Jimmy Kimmel and The Late Late Show with James Corden. I LOVE performing and so Im very excited to experiment and explore the possibilities of performing in web3 with the402! 

This is my first NFT performance and actually the very first music NFT Im ever releasing! Ill be performing an acoustic set in my home studio. This is just the beginning of my web3 journey as an artist and Im so thankful to have you join me and support me along the way!

"Free" is a song that I wrote about cherishing the things in life that truly matter. It"s a reminder to take a step back and appreciate the simple things that we often take for granted - things like the ability to breathe, the beauty of nature, and the love of our loved ones. These are things that cannot be bought, no matter how much wealth we accumulate.  
This song is a result of one of my web3 collaborations. The beat was expertly crafted by Senseishui, a talented producer that I met through Twitter spaces. The artwork for the song was created by me using the AI tool Midjourney, adding an extra layer of personal touch to the project.  
When you listen to this song, I hope you can deeply relate to the message it conveys and take a moment to appreciate the free things in life that truly matter.

Seems like every step we take in modern living we"re consuming and destroying. Us in "civilized" societies are all participants in a new cycle of life; one where our way of life is destroying the planet. Though some of us as individuals try to mitigate that as much as we can, its the system in place that we cannot escape.

Necessary Evil is about that making sense of that modern guilt.. the realization of being part of and benefiting from a destructive and wasteful system, but being sensitive enough to know something"s not right and wrestling with your conscience. On one hand its a necessary evil to consume, drive our cars, and keep living, but hopefully we find a worthy meaning and purpose, or even the divine in wrestling your conscience and trying to be better.

Artwork (created by the bands own Mike Nissen), lyrics, credits, and also story behind each song is included in the players UI.
