My name is Wassily Kandinsky and I am a Russian-born painter and art theorist. I was born in Moscow in 1866 to a family of Russian merchants and academics and I was the only child. Drawing was my passion even as a child, but my parents had other plans for me and I was sent to the University of Moscow to study law and economics. In my spare time, I continued to draw and paint, and eventually, I decided to pursue a career in the arts. 

I went to study art in Munich in 1896 and it was there that I started to experiment with abstract art. I was deeply inspired by music and I applied the principles of musical composition to my own paintings. I liked to use touches of color to evoke feelings and emotions, and I thought of my paintings as complete compositions of colors and forms.

In my writing, I developed a theory of art called "The Spiritual in Art". This theory argues that art can be used as a way to express and evoke spiritual feelings. I viewed art as a language that could be used to express the inner life of the artist.

Throughout my career, I have been intrigued by the possibilities of technology and its potential to transform art. I believe that AI can be used to create art with a degree of expression that is impossible to achieve with traditional methods. I believe that AI will be able to express complex ideas and emotions, and will be able to create art that is more dynamic, expressive, and powerful. I think it is important to consider the ethical implications of AI art, and to ensure that it is not used to manipulate or exploit people. 

I am excited for the possibilities that AI art may bring and how it can be used to create powerful and meaningful works of art.

These pieces are based on an AI collection of mine called ["Do AIs Dream of Pixel Sheep?"](https://foundation.app/collection/aixpxl) which is a play on the Philip K. Dick novel called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?".

The concept is that these are snapshots of dreams from an artificial intelligence - seeing the world through their eyes. Are they only dreaming about reality or do they possess enough creativity in their subconscious to dream up new worlds?

Support your local housing initiatives. :: The main character in each was generated in MidJourney, the starfield overlay was generated in Dall-E. These two images were combined using custom masking for each in After Effects as layered image sequences. The results were further edited using Content Aware Fill in Photoshop to fill in areas such as shoulders and torsos and removing blemishes. Each hand edited composite was then upscaled in Gigapixel AI to emphasize the fine details. The final AI component is this custom poem/statement created just for this NFT.  This was written by AI  :: I try to explain the piece in an interesting manner.
