The basic setup of the composition has been created with a rectangular sub division. Up next 32 workers make use of 16 different animation algorithms: 4 noise based animations, 4 shifting animations, 4 modulo based animation and 4 reset animations, all run in parallel. Each worker selects a rectangle from the initial setup and manipulates the pixels in this area. The selection process runs independently and animations can overlap which results in a new style of animation.

Twist (2023) is a series of moving paintings. Colors move through spirals, pushing each other, pulling each other, claiming space, around and around.  The work is responsive, it adjusts to any screen size.
