Blasting Rocks On Mars (Area 51 Space Pass NFT One Year Anniversary Commemorative Token) by Jack Frost

On February 18, 2021, NASA dropped the Perseverance Rover onto the surface of Mars. Perseverance has been active on Mars for 648 sops, exactly 666 earth days ago. 

The rover was equipped with a microphone that would capture the actual sounds from the surface of the planet of Mars. NASA beamed the sounds back to earth. Jack Frost sampled the sounds and made a song with them. The song is called Blasting Rocks on MarsThis song is called. 

This is that song, featuring actual sounds from the surface of Mars. 

This was the first ever song to be released using sounds from multiple planets. It was the first ever interplanetary beat.

One year ago today on 12/18/2021 Jack Frost and the Alien Scientists of Area 51 dropped the Area 51 Space Pass NFT. This is an original Music NFT collection with generative song rarity and image rarity, with token gated access for holders and immediate Metaverse utility,

The collection is a PFP, Music NFT, and Metaverse Access Pass.  We had a custom Solidity smart contract, a custom mint site, a pre-reveal GIF, and a reveal party. We had launched and nurtured a cranking Discord server and we built the foundation for the most amazing community in web3.  

The Area 51 Space Pass NFT was the first music NFT collection to introduce song rarity. 

This Commemorative Token symbolizes the one-year anniversary of the Area 51 Space Pass NFT.

We are listening to a romantic holiday pop/rock song that threatens to ruin every clich. Bell chimes are absent. Instead we hear tambourines led by a jagged synth line. The little drummer boy is replaced by a programmed, bare-bones, electro-rock beat.

Unlike traditional Christmas music, there is a Hanukkah twist. Will this single be worthy to enter the holiday canon? Only time will tell. For an indie artist alive in a hostile world to attempt to write a new holiday song at all invites us to imagine bravery.

Hola! Im Amy Correa Bell, a So Cal native based in the San Fernando Valley. I got into the web3 space exactly one year ago and Wowww! Im so freakin grateful to be releasing my 3rd NFT here on Sound.xyz and excited to share a sneak peek into what my producer Les Les and I have been cooking up for my upcoming LP.  

New Wave Vocals cross with native Marimbas over tribal drums creating a sound ready for the dance floor.  It activates freedom of expression with a message to GO forward, casting aside distractions while giving your all in every area of life . Go has a vibe that is relentless like a mighty wind and the lyrics speak of our inner souls choices, overcoming the many voices that can pull us in different directions.  We say GO in order to move forward and not stand still, to find our answer beyond any chaos we encounter.

Music has saved my life, and I feel honored to share this song with you in acknowledgement of our culture of change and uplifting momentum. My hope is that this song inspires you to take action on that one thing that takes your life to the next level in 2023.
