This is the final song from CACOPHONY, a new project from Reo Cragun and myself. CACOPHONY is a beautiful explosion. Deafeningly loud and chaotic and intimate at the same time. 

I grew up listening to a lot of underground hip hop. Lurking on the D12World forum I discovered Rhymesayers, QN5, Immortal Technique, Del the Funky Homosapien, and many othersmy favorite tracks were always the posse cuts. Three or more rappers on a crazy beat, all with different flows and vibes. Ever since then Ive wanted to make oneit took me 9 years in the music industry but WE ARE HERE!

  This is the last song on my album "when you feel like dying", that I"v been releasing one by one as NFTs on Sound. I wrote this one before any of the other songs on the album, and it began the folk era for me. It went through several iterations of production before I found the right fit for it. I also did about 30 different mix passes for it before it was perfect. Ergo, this song caused me a lot of stress, which is fitting because it"s about a person who caused me lots of stress.

do you like walking away? 

I wanted to make a song that felt like you are walking through your favorite computer game from when you were a child. I used to play club penguin, animal crossing, and bloons, to name a few. I wanted the juxtaposition between feeling like you"re a small child in this fantastical world with your only life goal being to win the game, and the feeling of loss when you are so utterly aware of life and heartbreak. This is one of the most playful songs on the album for me. I hope you like it <3
