Alternate is a collection of abstract real-time animations, that start with simple compositions and color palettes to evolve endlessly and to develop a depth in geometry and color over time. All pixel movements are restricted to their eight surrounding neighbors and occur at the speed of exactly one pixel per frame.

The artworks are written in GLSL (WebGL2) and JavaScript, utilize the P3 color space and respond to any screen size.

The code is fully on-chain to be delivered directly from the Smart Contract without any third party render engine involved. Unlike usual, the work extends into the field of action of the preview image, making it part of the work.

Each NFT includes 4 versions of the artwork, that can be alternated by its owner by calling the modify function of the Smart Contract. The alternation call is protected by a fee and can not be reverted.

Reflection introduces a new direction in machine creativity and generative art that the artist Pindar Van Arman calls 'Reflective AI.' How can generative AI art transcend algorithmic determinism and achieve pure emergence? The Reflective AI system leverages feedback loops and multimodal mark-making, reflecting on the canvas in realtime. Over the course of thousands of marks, Reflection thinks by doing in an attempt to present a synthetic embodiment of a creative thought process.

The digital component of Reflection is built with a unique long-form generative approach that utilizes inputs from the physical canvas. The system captures stages of the painting process, translates them to a digital format, and composes them on mint. All artworks are 100% on-chain.

Reflection seeks to show that generative art can embody true emergence, on-chain art can be highly detailed, and AI art can touch the source of creation.

The monochromatic palette strips away the distractions of color, focusing the viewer"s gaze on form, shadow, and light- the syntax of photography. Sutton"s use of stark contrasts and fluid lines conjures a world that feels both ancient and futuristic, a space where myth becomes indistinguishable from the machine.

"Mythologies" is a profound commentary on the narratives we construct about ourselves and our planet. It questions the stories of dominion and harmony, of progress and destruction. Eventually all love stories end

When I eventually turn to dust, I hope its as desolate, warm, and evanescent

Most Importantly I hope to have those final moments with you

I watched my grandmothers final moments on facetime. I was visiting Japan for my honeymoon. I connected to the free Wi-Fi for direction help. We were lost at the time. Immediately I got a picture of my grandmother dying in the middle of rush hour Tokyo subway traffic. A message appeared underneath it that stated, Come home before she passes, she doesnt have much time left. My heart dropped. Fuck I said out loud. There was no way I could make it back in time before that happened. I didnt make it back, but I realized how lucky she was in the end. She was able to have her soul mate of 50 years guide her out. One last adventure together. A hurrah if you will. She wasnt alone. He helped her to the finish line.
The green tree represents my grandfather. The white dead tree represents my grandmother. The environment is warm, welcoming, while being paired with a painterly sky to welcome this momentous event. A warm ending to a 50-year-old love story. Love is beautiful.

Dedicated to the moment my grandmother passed in my grandfathers arms.

I miss you so much.

I see colors when I hear certain music, or sounds. I use this ability in my photography by altering certain colors to match what I see from listening to music.

Please note that all EtherIDs may be renewed for up to 2 million blocks (~9 months). Therefore, like ENS, it's necessary to renew them periodically. The contract was upgraded, 32,301 assets migrated, and verified on June 28th, 2016. 

The domain name is a hex value, interpretable as a UTF8 encoded string. Since EtherID domains are a key/value pair, you can store values (IPFS, Arweave etc.) in them and have it resolved via various methods. The EtherID smart contract features a fully trustless on-chain marketplace, launched before OpenSea. Therefore, it needs a wrapper to make it compatible with the ERC-721 standard. This wrapper allows you to access many functions available for an EtherID in its unwrapped native form.
