*923 Empty Rooms* is an artwork about simulation and the history of visual representation and abstraction. Each room is a space to explore.

Each of the 923 unique rooms contains a simulated still life, an arrangement of forms. There are six primary forms, each linked to a city: Sun (Tokyo), Shard (Berlin), Cargo (London), Hive (New York), Pyramid (CDMX), and Moon (Los Angeles). A series of rooms will be minted over the course of a simultaneous, six-day exhibition at galleries in each city.

There are 923 rooms in total to iterate through every possible combination of the six shapes:

*923 Empty Rooms* is an evolution of *An Empty Room*, commissioned by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for the Coded: Art Enters the Computer Age, 19521982 exhibition. *An Empty Room* was installed at LACMA from 9 April to 2 July 2023.

SPACE\TIME by loackme

Spatial patterns unfolding over time, complexity emerging from simple rules and algorithms, and fleeting moments perpetually repeating; these are the defining elements of each of the hundred animated loops comprising SPACE\TIME.

The code that brought these animations to life was allowed to grow organically, unbound by good coding practices, resulting in a fertile substrate for serendipity. Each iteration was uniquely crafted, for no two were generated using the same code, lending the series an artisanal touch rather than a meticulously curated one. This creative journey spanned three months, traversing diverse locales such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Valencia, and the French countryside. As the series evolved, each place left its imprint on the code and its artistic outputs.

The elongated timeframe in which this series took shape transformed the creative process into a meditative experience. Returning to the code to create new iterations became a cherished ritual, offering a sanctuary for creativity.

All the pieces in this collection unfold with pixels gliding from the top-left to the bottom-right corner, but there is an open invitation for you to explore further. Rotate them at any multiple of 45 degrees to get a different experience.

Particle systems have always held a special place in my heart. The inherent simplicity of each particle and the complexity of what emerges is a theme I have always enjoyed exploring. \
With *Drift*, I continue this exploration and delve deeper into the intricacies of one such system, to see what emotions it can evoke. 


To export a PNG, I recommend adding a size parameter to the query string, such as &size=4000 to define the longer size, and then pressing 's' after the rendering is complete. Also, please check the console for rendering and saving information.


The piece is computationally expensive and requires an adequate GPU.

It is important to understand that due to the complexity of the simulation, the result may look different across different devices. Their intricate geometries move freely beyond limited social media compression that severely reduces the experience of digital art. These formations also embody choreographic elements from collaborative live coding dance performance.

A ghost is seen traveling around the temple. Although the gender of ghosts is generally fluid, this ghost sends out a masculine energy. He appears to be architecting a plan or plotting against someone, as his smooth skin casts a silver chrome color. Upon his presence, the temple"s ambiance has turned into a shade reminiscent of that of a gorgeous hydrangea, and the sacred waters below have shifted into a Madagascar Pink hue. The atmosphere feels bright and light, which could symbolize the comfort that exists around you and your ghost. It appears the ghost has a limb or bone that may require your attention: his left hand thumb. This could be where your strength comes from. The may plot against you, but you"re the only architect of your fate.

The complex process involving a high-energy memetic particle accelerator and an advanced chemistry lab supported by various quantum computers and AI data analysis tools to extract both common and rare elements -, and prepare them for shipment to labs around the world for further research. 

The discovery of Hopium was a major milestone in crypto chemistry and crypto particle physics, confirming a key prediction of the existence of the alluding element and providing new insights into the fundamental nature of matter in the crypto universe. It required the collaboration of thousands of scientists and engineers from around the world, and it demonstrated the power of advanced scientific instruments and the importance of international decentralized scientific cooperation.
