ABOUT "CATCH ME"
I wrote this song at the height of the pandemic. Id just moved across the country to LA a few months earlier, and I felt caught between the anxieties of my internal and external worlds. As I searched for my sense of self in a new and unfamiliar place, I felt more lost than I ever had before. I was falling apart, wishing I could just go back to a simpler time in my life - relive it, appreciate how good it was to not feel fear every day.

Flash forward to now: my emotional wounds have turned to scars. And with that healing, this song has transformed in my eyes from a lament into an anthem - a celebration of my personal perseverance, and our collective perseverance having made it thru the worst of the pandemic.

If youve ever struggled with anxiety, self-doubt, and/or hopelessness, then this song is for you. I hope listening to it helps release a bit of your existential tension as you dance, head-bang, sing at the top of your lungs, or preferably all of the above.

Catch Me is track #2 on my debut EP Into Our Hands. Huge thanks to the amazing cohort of contributors to the Into Our Hands collaborative crowdfund campaign - you all helped make this drop possible!! Special shout out to contributor Madmann.eth, whos hand photo is featured in the golden egg artwork.

hedsTAPE 11 feat. MIJA

MIJA has offered her inimitable take on a wide variety of electronic projects over the years. Accordingly, for a collaborative partner of such creative versatility, Mijas version of the hedsTAPE sample was recorded at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum, an electronic music recording studio located in Highland Park, CA. The sample includes recordings from an original TR-808, a Moog MiniMoog Model D, a Yamaha CS-80 and more. Sounds were recorded through a Universal Audio Apollo 16. 

    This hedsTAPE was curated by MIJA during a collaborative production cycle. Each track is accompanied by a visualizer, and the entire mix is included with each mint. The talented artists featured in this mix have been chosen anonymously via heds community curation, and appear in the following order:

Meet the new on-chain generative art collection of the Avatizer project!

The on-chain art revolution continues: Avatizer Mint Pass presents Ugly Faces by Vitaliy Lishko.

The new collection consists of weird-looking stylish NFT art pieces generated by an on-chain algorithm based on the initial painting by Vitaliy Lishko, a famous Ukrainian designer. These NFTs change their look and emotions once a day (this process can be paused/resumed whenever you like).

Another part of the collection contains 100 one-time purchase certificate tokens granting their holders a real painting from Vitaliy Lishko that depicts any of their owned paused Ugly Faces NFT.
