KRILLER is a custom coded, 6300 piece digital art project, composed of unique audio/visual cassettes featuring hand-crafted illustrations and music by Presstube (James Paterson) and Young Galaxy (Stephen Ramsay). Once purchased, cassettes can be enjoyed on their own or together as loops in KRILLER's cassette player. Once sold out, the entire collection will be able to be enjoyed by all as a seven day, seamlessly looping ambient radio station at kriller.com

Artist Bingo

Artist Bingo turns my life and career as an artist into a game of bingo. On each bingo card, the usual numbers are replaced by various tropes, myths, and milestones that constitute an artist"s life, or our collective imagination thereof. The tropes are then stamped off over time as I, unintentionally, complete them in the course of my lifefive in a row for bingo! Each winner will receive a handmade physical copy of their artwork.

In rendering these tropes explicit, the project acts as living examination of our stereotypes of artists (tortured/starving artist, eccentric/creative genius, etc.) and the way this mythos is packaged into a speculative financial container through art.

Bright Moments

The central theme of this series, featuring recursive divisions of circles and polygons, originated from sketches in September 2022. As is often the case for me, my sketches begin without a vital purpose, taking on a fluid and undefined quality. They resemble malleable clay, combining and reworking multiple small ideas until mutable elements and immutable structures emerge. I have crafted the present collection of works by refining and developing these structures, pushing them as far away from the original image as possible while ensuring coherence.

Incorporating a color palette inspired by traditional Japanese dyes, shading techniques mindful of harmony, and methods such as circle packing and transformation builds upon the foundation of my previous work. However, this new collection consciously explores the concepts of convergence and divergence within and beyond the canvas. Furthermore, I have created a unique and remarkable series by envisioning their display in a traditional Japanese residence, such as the historic Asakura House.
