Noble Cards: Season One

I often marvel at the complex paths cut by sunlight, from the splendid source of the sun's boiling furnace to the small, curved retinas where those photons settle. Eight and a half minutes about, to cross 93 million miles, before filtering through layers of atmosphere, to fall upon the splendid city of New York, a metal maze of skycrapers that send these beams bouncing toward our eyes. Photography is about finding the beauty in these brilliant interactions, and with the right combination of angles and technique, can a stranger in the park eclipse the sun itself? 

In this fleeting moment, a candid shot of a man extending a greeting, wrapped in the light that was sent from so far away, as a thousand stars shine along his edges- these are the moments that make this endless study worth beginning, each and every day.

Blue Hour Adventures: Australia

**Blue Hour Adventures: Australia! is a fictional childrens adventure book based on a true story.**
Cath Simard, a renowned landscape composite photographer, embarked on a solo adventure to capture the magical blue hour over a remote lake in Tasmania. Over eight days, she encountered various challenges and opportunities and faced tough decisions amidst harsh weather and isolation from the world.
This journey triggered profound self-reflection, teaching invaluable life lessons that inspired this book.
The adventure begins when Iris, a young and curious girl, visits her Aunt Blue in her secluded Canadian cabin. A glance at Aunt Blues travel photos and a magic coin whisks them away on a quest to capture the elusive blue hour at Sapphire Lake in Tasmania, Australia.
Along the way, Iris and Aunt Blue encounter difficult obstacles, unlocking their perseverance, tenacity, and creativity, but most importantly, learning to embrace challenges and enjoy each moment of the journey.
Will these two intrepid explorers capture the photographs they hope for?

In the heart of Yerevan, amidst the lively chatter of the city, a woman finds solace in the quaint ambiance of an outdoor bar. With the warm rays of the sun caressing her skin, she sits at a small table, a chilled drink in hand. Behind her, an unexpected sight captivates the attention of passersbya magnificent, lifelike bird stands sentinel, its majestic presence towering over the scene. Its feathers ruffle gently in the breeze, imbuing the air with a sense of enchantment. Yet, the woman remains unperturbed, her demeanor serene as she basks in the surreal beauty of the moment, a quiet smile gracing her lips.

An Odd Encounter

In the heart of Luxembourg, amidst the opulent ambiance of a glitzy bar, a woman sits perched atop a table, her outfit exuding extravagance and allure under the dazzling lights. Adorned in shimmering sequins and luxurious fabrics, she commands attention with her radiant presence, a vision of glamour amidst the upscale surroundings. As the vibrant atmosphere pulses around her, she becomes a focal point of the evening"s festivities, her poised demeanor and striking attire adding to the allure of the already flashy establishment. In this moment of heightened elegance and sophistication, the woman embodies the epitome of luxury, captivating all who are fortunate enough to bask in her radiant glow.

Sequins & Chocolate

In the radiant sunlight of a day in Benghazi, a woman stands poised on a balcony overlooking the sprawling cityscape, a sense of serenity enveloping her as she pours water off the edge. With each graceful movement, droplets cascade into the air, catching the light like diamonds before disappearing into the bustling streets below. Against the backdrop of the city"s vibrant energy, she becomes a mesmerizing figure, her silhouette framed by the azure sky and the bustling activity of Benghazi"s streets. Passersby pause in admiration, captivated by the elegant dance between the woman and the water, a moment of tranquility amidst the dynamic rhythm of the city.

The Graceful Gesture

In the waning light of the Casablanca sunset, a woman kneels by her window, her silhouette outlined against the fiery sky. With the cityscape stretching out before her, bathed in the warm hues of evening, she gazes pensively into the distance. The gentle breeze carries the scent of spices and the distant sound of bustling streets, as the rhythmic pulse of the city lulls her into a tranquil reverie. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the rooftops, the woman finds solace in the beauty of the moment, a fleeting oasis of calm amidst the vibrant energy of Casablanca"s bustling streets.

The Last Sunset

As the woman emerged from the gas station in Turku, her attention consumed by the mundane tasks of the day, she remained oblivious to the impending danger lurking just behind her. Unaware of the flames igniting in the air behind her aging car, she proceeded with calm determination, her mind preoccupied with the errands ahead. Oblivious to the flickering inferno, she continued on her way, the tranquility of the day shielding her from the chaos that unfolded mere steps behind her.

Unusual Circumstances

26 year old digital artist NessGraphics works in a wide range of modern media, known primarily for his mastery of 3D animation, modeling, and design. From the age of 12, Ness gravitated towards the use of technology to captivate his audience through digital story telling at varying scale, showcasing his visual art alongside award-winning musicians at globally prominent events and shows. Ness weaves in soothing undertones of dystopian and cyberpunk timelessness into his work, and is widely respected as a thought leader in the NFT world.

In the year 2069, an eerie stillness pervaded the world, as if time itself had stopped. Among the desolate ruins, a solitary gas station stood defiantly, the last vestige of a bygone era. Its faded faade, once a beacon of convenience and energy, now blended with the barren landscape, a relic of a forgotten past.

Inside, the air hung heavy with nostalgia, a mixture of gasoline and memories. The shelves, stripped bare of snacks and sodas, stood as empty reminders of a time when bustling travelers sought respite from the road. Dusty windows revealed cracked asphalt, now devoid of the once-familiar hum of vehicles. A single, flickering lightbulb swung from the ceiling, casting eerie shadows on the faded advertisements for long-discontinued products.

Yet, amid the solemnity, a spark of hope remained. The station"s weathered attendant, a sage-like figure named Ezra, had become a guardian of the past, preserving the memories and stories that whispered through the crumbling walls. With a voice weathered by time and countless tales, Ezra greeted the rare visitor, their faces etched with curiosity and wonder, as they stumbled upon this improbable oasis.

In this somber haven, conversations were born, bridging the chasm between generations. Travelers exchanged tales of electric vehicles that glided silently, powered by renewable energy sources. They spoke of a world reborn, where the echoes of combustion engines were replaced by the symphony of progress. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting its final farewell upon the last gas station on Earth, Ezra"s weary eyes shone with the belief that even in the darkest hours, humanity had the capacity to reinvent itself, leaving behind the ghosts of the past and embracing a future yet unwritten.

Once in a lifetime, you experience a moment that you know you will never be lucky enough to witness again. 

At the start of the 2022 whale migration season, I travelled to the coast in hope of capturing something out of the ordinary. I arrived at my local vantage point and what followed was nothing short of incredible. A single whale appeared to be gracefully floating around 50 metres off the shore. After chatting with some locals at the lookout, they informed me the whale had been in the area for some time and were concerned that it was injured or tangled in netting. 

I launched my drone to investigate if this animal was struggling or simply enjoying the sea. Thankfully, after a close inspection there were no signs of any trauma to this animal and it was just simply enjoying the ocean waves. 

It was an overcast day with less than ideal flying conditions, but with it being so close to shore I just had to follow it along its path as long as I could. In the distance a small rainbow was forming from the passing rain clouds. I patiently tried to wait for that miracle breach, that whales are known for, whilst focussing on the rainbow - that once in a lifetime shot. 

I"m forever grateful for being in the right place at the right time to witness such a beautiful display of nature.
