Rituals combines generative music and generative artwork to create 1000 unique windows into a singular parametric universe. The music and art are crafted to infinitely evolve, giving collectors a subtly new experience upon each viewing. If left running, a single Ritual will continue generating music and art without repeating for ~9 million years. We invite you to hold space for yourself and enjoy a moment of mindful stillness. The first 200 were minted in real life at Bright Moments in Venice, CA, USA in September 2021.

#### _Can an image invoke memories of scent?_

**Vxt** _(Growth/Plant)_ is an attempt at two things; on one hand capturing the emotion of walking in a garden, on another it is an exercise in combining micro and macro in a single canvas. With this series, I want to provoke your senses to associate the artworks with scents, flowers, plants, nature, gardens.

#### _What is the essence of a garden?_

The visual expression of **Vxt** is founded in exploration of shapes, colour and texture. How multiple shapes interact to create a composition greater than the sum of its parts, just like a planting of complementary flowers in a garden yields an inspiring composition or how light trickles through the leaves of a tree. How the colours ebb and flow over seasons and how combinations and shades cause our minds to fetch old memories as we create new ones. How texture can be used to provide depth and allow the eye to relax.

#### _What if the motif fades into the distance when you lean in closer?_

**Vxt** is a continuation in the artistic journey of Tengil. Strong inspiration from nature combined with thoughts on the digital world combine to form thought-provoking artworks that give more the longer and closer one looks. From afar, the pieces explore the boundaries of abstraction. They provoke memories of scent using visual stimulus. Up close, there is a microcosmos of texture reminiscent of vast mountains aiming to bring balance and ground the scenes in familiar terrain.

Technically, the algorithm is a "meta-algorithm". Code (Javascript) writes code (webGL) which is executed to produce the final artworks.

Evolving Pixels is an exhibition centered around the theme of growth. The show invites a set of diverse digital artists who work with computational technologiesnamely, generative or AI-assistedto investigate what growth means to them. 

PROOF has partnered with Art Blocks and Venus Over Manhattan to bring Evolving Pixels to life. The long-form generative collections in the exhibition are being delivered with the Art Blocks Engine. From April 12-24, Venus Over Manhattan will display Evolving Pixels at their Soho gallery in New York City.

"Memorias del espacio olvidado" es un proyecto de arte generativo que explora relacin entre el crecimiento de la naturaleza en la arquitectura de los edificios antiguos o las grandes estructuras arquitectnicas que han sido abandonadas en la ciudad para representar el crecimiento humano desde diferentes aspectos. 

A travs de Memorias del espacio olvidado el artista busca hacer una comparacin entre este comportamiento de crecimiento de la naturaleza con situaciones que enfrentamos los humanos todos los das y que nos hacen seguir adelante. 

Al igual que las plantas se adaptan al ambiente en el que crecen, los seres humanos tambin tenemos la capacidad de adaptarnos a diferentes situaciones y circunstancias en nuestras vidas, lo que nos permite crecer.
 
La naturaleza crece a su propio ritmo y no compite con la arquitectura, nosotros tambin tenemos nuestro propio ritmo de crecimiento y no debemos compararnos o sentirnos presionados con ciertas expectativas. 

Ambos crecimientos pueden ser vistos como procesos de renovacin y de regeneracin que permiten que la vida contine y se adapte a los cambios constantes del entorno. 

El crecimiento de la naturaleza en los espacios olvidados de las ciudades es una fuente de inspiracin para el crecimiento humano en diferentes aspectos de la vida.

Bright Moments

Undercurrents is a pure generative art collection made with code using p5.js and glsl.

The collection attempts to capture the essence of Tokyo"s multifaceted character and the unseen layers beneath the surface of the city"s dynamic urban landscape. The bright abstract patterns, layered with a subtle fabric-like texture, allude to the interplay of modernity and ancient traditions that define the city. The intricate layers of the artwork hint at the depth of Tokyo"s high-context culture, where communication relies heavily on implicit understanding, nonverbal cues, and shared cultural knowledge.

In aerial photos from 1945, you can see dozens of buildings crammed around the main street of Gallarta - a town 13 km northwest of Bilbao. The street leads to a small open pit where they extract iron. Images from 1956 and 1965 show how the road becomes shorter, and houses once surrounded by fields are now on the pit"s edge. Some of them disappeared to facilitate access to the ore. The mine grew, consuming mountains, meadows, and settlements.

Gallarta disappeared in 1977, replaced by a chasm extending across the area until today. The open pit extraction in the mine stopped being profitable only six years later. The scar it left on the surface of the mountainous area is a monument to the disappearance of this and numerous other towns with similar stories.

Cantera is a project that brings these stories to a non-physical, generative space. It replaces atoms of stone and soil with digital bits. It draws landscapes inspired by the imagery of Basque stone quarries and iron mines and writes narratives about non-existent habitats where the boundaries between extraction, shelter, and natural forms become indistinct.

27-Bit Digital by kai

The essence of all things digital is the bit. One or Zero. On or Off. Where digital becomes analog. This piece pays tribute to our digital legacy of 8-bit color and 7-segment LED displays technological limitations which are mirrored in the constraints of putting art on the blockchain. Although the image represents the art, the art of the token itself is the code which renders everything bitwise, pixel by pixel, all contained within 27-bits of information.
