"JumpRope" is a Collaborative effort by the founders of Future Surf Radio, Cam Murdoch, Scolla Fungwe & June Jissle as well as fellow Future Surf creatives, Miles Ryan Harris & Ashton Woods. This Afro-Carribean love song was created entirely in-house while on the trip to ETHDenver. Written & Performed By Scolla Fungwe, Miles Ryan Harris and Cam Murdoch. Skyzone started in 2020 with an entirely different sounding record, I felt like the sound was too experimental when the homie Eric (from 4km) started it but then I revisited the record in 2022 and knew exactly who to reach out to: Jamee Cornelia and Jadyn Violet. Jamee came in with an absolutely infectious energy and such a superstar verse, then Jadyn laced the record with some beautiful melodies and I went back in and redid my verse and we had a whole ass bop

JOYRIDE II : SHOWTIME 

I originally wrote this tune to the Showtime Riddim. I grew up on reggae and dancehall and a lot of my flow and vibe is influenced by the sound of artists like Beenie Man and Patra. I think there is a deep strength in reggae music that I love to tap into in my creations. The lyrics of the song are influenced by my big brain, my hunger and my hardcore flows. I like to think if Lil' Kim and Lauryn Hill made an art child, she would be me. I think I wrote this in a flow state. I sometimes don't have a concept before writing. I just let myself flow through it. Those are usually my favorite cause they are coming from the subconscious. haha. The production is by the incredible Kaui who also produced Culture. 

This song is a part of the Joyride collection. Joyride is special to me cause they are verses I would imagine while riding my bike during the pandemic. They are verses riding me and you to my new album coming next year. A transitional project...maybe an EP in the near future. We shall see.

Minimalistic in its nature, Saucy is a bouncy hip hop record made for the people who embody what it means to have sauce. Sauce cant be taught. Sauce is a lifestyle. Sauce is an energy. Sauce is an aura. If you know, you know. 

When I first started writing to this instrumental, I was trying too hard to make it sound good. Guess what, the exact opposite happened. It f***ing sucked. Thats the thing about sauce. You gotta let things happen naturally or else youll get lost in it. To have sauce is to let go and just do you. Once I did that, it became one of my favorite songs of mine.
