stem is the first micro poem from Petal Book, a three-part leider cycle written by Ana Mara Caballero for Refraction, inspired by Louise Glcks The Wild Iris.

Taking Glcks oracular, anthropomorphic voice as a point of entry, Caballero explores our relationship with mortality, with words, and with each other, in a series of pithy, cutting poems written in the language of flowers.

Superdackel is an homage to the iconic nodding dog dashboard toy called Wackeldackel and was introduced by Mercedes-Benz and Superplastic at CES 2023. In 2024, the pup was back as a digital collectible.

There are four scenes, 19 jacket and 19 shoe colors and a total of 1,000 unique collectibles. The colors of Superdackels jacket and shoes refer to the car paints that are also used in the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons collection.

This is the first satellite project in the Mercedes-Benz NXT ecosystem and, just like Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons, the Superdackel digital collectibles were designed by the Mercedes-Benz design team.

Yoshi Sodeoka explores a multitude of media and platforms which comprises video, gifs, and print. His neo-psychedelic style stems from his love of and background in music. Noise, punk, and metal all influenced his development of complex, mind-altering visuals. His practice involved the use of digital video feedback, footage samples and online imagery, and his videos audio soundscapes are often the result of intense collaborative work. Sodeokas work has been exhibited internationally, including at Centre Pompidou, Tate Britain, the Museum of Modern Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Deitch Projects, La Gat lyrique, the Museum of Moving Image, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and Laforet Museum Harajuku.
