In this installment, Mother Earths life force has been exhausted by us mortal beings. She is still mighty and recharging under the baroque auroras of her otherworldly skies.

This pieces title was inspired by Zora Neale Hurstons Their Eyes Were Watching God. 

Ive been into incorporating bodies in my work a lot more than usual lately, both by showing personal relationships with them along with societal expectations of them. This particular piece is near and dear to me because it feels like Im holding up a mirror. What do you see?
