Swords and Dragons

On this day Aymer learned the true meaning of rage. Descending down that mountain that he was once chased up. Feeling the years of contempt, loneliness and anger boil into one moment.

He trained for this. He dreamt of this but he was blinded. His sight like that of a wild animal brimming red with hatred. His pain of losing his kin. Having to watch them be mutilated and tortured. His sadness. His confused. All lead to this.

He burned everything on his way down. The skeletons of the once bustling towns were littered of ash and bones. His Dragons melting skin in mere seconds. They showed no mercy. Him and his Dragons. Men, children and women all shared the same fate. 

There wasn"t much blood. As there was no one who dared stand against him, his sword was stationed in his right hand as his left lead the way with his mastery of fire. 

In this moment Aymer was a reflection of a devil. A spawn of evil. And in this moment Aymer truly believed he was right.

Aymer"s Middle

"It"s only just begun" She had thought.
That day seemed ages ago, battling for her throne amongst those who stood loyal to her. That war was bloody and brutal. Some wounds too deep to heal. The scars from those days paint her body.

But now she is Queen. The Kingdom of Mrcy is in peace. The people rallied behind their new Queen, calling her a savior and protector. They built shrines of her and her Dragons and wrote down in books the great deeds and battles she had achieved.

It"s been seven whole years after the war. Seven years of peace and prosperity as the trade route through the mountains has been reopened. Ties with the southern Kingdoms reforged and with her Dragons she kept a loving but watchful eye from above.

She loves her people. And they love her.

As she stood on a nearby port she wondered how long this peace could last. How long before another threatened her throne?

"Until then." She thought as she looked up and called to her Dragon.

Until then we are free.

Yesli"s Middle

Rayle decided to gain knowledge first. 

But wandering around these streets he is unable to stifle his anger. These humans know nothing of life. These lights, loud horns and voices echos in his mind as their eyes all divert each other. Sucked into these tiny devices in their hands.

It"s like they are ghosts. Unable to fathom or recognize anything or anyone but themselves.

He pities their weakness and shallowness.

His mind was wondering as he was startled by loud horn to his left. A yellow metal box on wheels was blaring it"s horn at him. Yelling at him to move. 

"That"s enough" he thought.

His dragons circle high above him, only he notices.

Rayle raised his sword in the air, noticing the being in the metal box and his eyes widening with fear.

"Good." he said as he unleashed his power into the blade. Summoning lightning. Summoning his dragons.
Within seconds fire came crashing. Screams are heard through the eerie silence right before panic.

It has begun. This place will burn.

Rayle"s Middle

It"s been five years since Aymer has been living in the Retheras Mountains. Five years since he fled here.

The snow has become warm to him. The Dragons blood within him has grown and increased his size. The jagged edges of the mountain tops now soft on his bare skin. He has become a warrior, commanding both Flame and Dragons, becoming friends with both.

He understands their ways more than he understands humans. Humans who forced out his family and kin. Slaying most of them. He"s unsure if any survived, or if he was the last.

The blood boils. He"s ready.
