Someday we will be again

Hi my name is Joshua :) . Pawrlsol is my cathartic output. This project began as a avenue to place musings outside of the band Big Dead. This art has taken many musical forms since its inception, and will continue to. 

Someday we will be again -  

I wrote this song when I was battling to find joy in life without abusing substances. I knew I didnt want to continue my path but life felt colourless without my crutches. I found myself saying We will be again, my former self and my future self would find happiness in life without the help of external sources. I would find the best parts of both of me in the future. (Im still looking lol)
This song has unfortunately not made the cut for my upcoming EP THERMOPOLIUM but thought it was too much of a bop to leave on my HD. 

I decided to release this song as a sonic introduction to the people who have yet to find my art. But also a homage to my current collectors, and my former self.  
Golden Egg collector will receive an airdrop of one of my previous releases. (their choice)
Really stoked to be onboard with sound.xyz and looking forward to connecting with yall and showing you more of my music <3

genesis (ep one) - reality benders

WHO ARE THE REALITY BENDOOORRS?

In the vast and ever-expanding multiverse, three travelers found themselves in a peculiar predicament that would change their understanding of reality forever.

The first traveler was a warrior named Grungy Sweater, from a dimension of magic and dragons. He had been on a quest to defeat a powerful sorcerer when he stumbled upon a portal that led him to an unknown realm.

The second traveler was a scientist named Toha, from a dimension of advanced technology and robotics. He had been working on a teleportation experiment when an unexpected malfunction sent him hurtling through time and space, ending up in an unfamiliar universe.

The third traveler was a musician named Vivid Fever Dreams, from a dimension of psychedelic soundscapes and cosmic harmonies. He had been performing at a music festival when a mysterious force pulled him into a portal, sending him careening through the multiverse.

As they emerged from their respective portals, they found themselves standing in a desolate wasteland, with nothing but an ominous tower looming in the distance. Despite their differences, they shared a common sense of confusion and unease, sensing that something was not quite right.

Grungy drew his sword, ready to defend himself from any potential threats. Toha activated his scanner, trying to make sense of the foreign surroundings. Vivid played some notes on his saxophone, hoping to find some sort of rhythm amidst the chaos.

As they cautiously made their way towards the tower, they encountered strange creatures and peculiar phenomena that defied their respective laws of physics and magic.

They realized that they were not in their own dimensions anymore, but rather in a dimension where the rules of reality were constantly in flux.

In a moment of inspiration, Vivid suggested that they form a band, combining their unique abilities to create a powerful force of creativity and energy.

Grungy provided the thundering beats with his magical sample manipulation and rapped with a flow that weaved in and out of the fabric of time itself. Toha added the electrifying melodies with his synthesizer and low rumblings with his vast control over the subharmonic dimension. Vivid sang and played his saxophone, channeling the power of the multiverse through his horn.

And thus the REALITY BENDOOORRS were born!

Cool With You?

I remember having a conversation with a "music exec" in the past for some critiques and insight on my music.

I was told: "The music is great. You rap great, the production is great  and love music with this type of message. But the masses won"t tune in to this kind of music. The world is too dark its not you." When I asked what that meant, I was told in so many words I needed to have a rough childhood upbringing turned positive to make my message loved and respected by people. If not, then I needed a gimmick of some sort.

That convo put me into a small stint of depression and snatched the inspiration right out of me. I"m grateful for friends with wisdom that told me that person was very likely trying to make me their industry pawn but also made it clear to me that -- MY story? Was indeed needed in the world via my music.

Not too long after that, I was inspired to produce and write this song. It was a letter to my listeners asking them an important yet somewhat rhetorical question: 

this is my life and experience...is that cool with you?

I hope this record can be an encouragement to all artists of all genres and forms to always stay true to you. We should all strive to become great at what we do and explore new sounds and ways to create. But we should never lose who we are for the sake of money (USD or ETH) or just to attract a large audience. Because you can really die while you"re still alive.

My second offering from the lost album, OG COOL. (Only Good Comes Out Of Living)

This is the second song that I have brought to Web3 that I produced and I"m extremely proud of that. Although this was created some time ago, it serves as a reminder to me never to limit any part of myself. I"m here to operate as my highest and fullest self at all times.

There"s en entendre in there for all of my herb specialists.
