Description: In LUX, Loucas subverts traditional photography teachings and presents a series of images taken of the sun. More concerned with the exploration of tools throughout the process, this work culminates in strikingly bold pieces that are as imposing as the sun itself. Each piece will evolve over the course of 11 years, a reflection of the sun cycles, inviting collectors onto a journey with Loucas that will challenge convention.

LUX is a collection of 176 photographs split into four distinct phases. The sun"s eleven-year oscillation is a dynamic unifying factor for all phases. Similar to four movements of a larger composition, each phase is a closed system. The images contained in a phase presaged the others. They cycle across tokens but are restricted to their own set of loops. Still, a few have broken out and remain petrified.

LUX 100

Siebren Versteeg and Arsnl present the NFT experience of a lifetime. A year long social experiment. Versteegs algorithms generate painterly collages that transform images of current events into works that are erotic, prophetic, sometimes terrifying, often humorous, and always revelatory.For a year, Versteeg will generate a new work every 10 to 15 minutes, using trending stories scraped from the internet as source material. Each work will only exist "for a limited time" before being replaced by the next. However, if a collector cant bear to see the moment go, they can claim the work, cementing the art and their personal connection with time onto the blockchain. About 35,000 artworks will be generated, of which 750 can be "saved" or "curated" by collectors at their choosing over the course of the year.

Mass

Mass is a shared 3D interactive space that lives on the blockchain. Everyone shares the same space, but it appears differently to each viewer and evolves in unexpected ways over time.

Mass is a surveillance machine, recording every action its owners take on-chain and communicating them back to the group through changes in the dynamic 3D compositions. But there are bugs in the code. The errors make the communication of events unreliable. The visual environment has also been constructed incorrectly and its digital objects are fragmented.

Mass is a 100% on-chain, 3D relational artwork. An open space of shared digital presence.

Its common to fetishise technology and we can easily become hooked on the network systems we use. The Ethereum blockchain is influential on our lives and this artwork tries to reveal some of its underlying behaviour through abstraction.

The image files in BURNER begin as pictures of true physical gas. Theyre extruded into a third dimension, rotated and processed until theyre unrecognisable. These new forms interact differently with one another in each digital artwork.

Every BURNER has a unique base image, unique seed and 60 million potential states. Rarer dark and bright" types can have over 1 billion states. Apart from the base image, the layers are shared communally between collectors, then mixed uniquely in each piece. Slower pieces have higher rarity.

BURNER isnt controlled by the artist, but by the Ethereum Virtual Machine and its users.
