Iris Illuminata

Fluorescent is the fourth eye to come to Iris Illuminata. I wanted to make something that was a little brighter on the spectrum, and this piece features elements of green, orange, purple, and blue in the floral-like patterns and shapes that make up the experimentation in the piece.

Magia Prpura, otherwise translated to Purple Magic, is the newest edition to the Iris Illuminata clan.

I was really drawn to the idea of making something with the thought of dark yet beautiful, and it led me down a rabbit hole of exploring how I could make that thought a reality in a way that the collection hadnt seen before. 

The style itself is new to the collection. Notes of blue, green, orange and pink also make up the lush environment seen in the piece.

Dark Hollows is something a little different for Iris Illuminata. To this point, most of the eyes have been designed to look straight forward with vivid scenery surrounding.

This time, I wanted to make something more ethereal, spooky, bordering on sinister. The eye is looking up and away, which I hope leads the viewer to speculate what it might be looking at and why it looks afraid at what it sees. 

Dark Hollows

Serenity in Nature can almost act as a counterpart to another Iris Illuminata piece titled Mystique of Midnight. 

Whereas Mystique of Midnight is more ominous and dark in composition, inviting a different field of emotion, this piece contains a calmer color palette with a subtle waterfall amongst the muted nature-like elements.

My hope is that this invites a feeling of serenity, bliss, calm.

In A Cosmic Valley is a piece that slowly transformed into the Iris Illuminata animation The Passage of Time. 

As part of winning the auction for the animated piece, I have rewarded the lucky bidder with the non-animated image.

The Passage of Time is the first ever animated Iris to arrive into the collection.

Here, we explore the old tale of time passing by. What started as a canyon slowly takes shape and becomes a brick pathway, the jungle like scenery and floral decor shifts and morphs into a dizzying and beautiful garden, and the Iris itself begins to slowly age and change shape and color.

Selva Csmica, or Cosmic Jungle, is the twenty third Iris piece.

I strived to make this a more experimental piecewith such, I chose to combine floral aesthetic, psychedelics, and down to earth scenery into one neat package.

I strived to combine the more down to earth landscapes and intensify the vibrant psychedelia patterns and shapes seen in the background.

Paraso Psicodlico, or Psychedelic Paradise, is the twenty first piece and the comeback of Iris Illuminata.

I really strived to change up the style of the next generation of pieces. Here, we can take notes of a fall-like aesthetic smashed together with the traditional psychedelic leanings of Irises before.

Iris Illuminata is back! The newest piece is titled Sun Projection, as the way the eye encompasses the rest of the eclectic landscape, it became a sun-like deity casting a light otherwise absent.

Softly gazing, serene and true,
A palette of colors, subtle and light,

In a dreamscape, I once did see
A vibrant eye that spoke to me
Its iris shone a brilliant hue
Of colors that I never knew

A rainbow danced within its gaze
A symphony of light and grace
I felt it draw me ever near
Silent serenades in my ear

Its lashes fluttered like butterfly wings
And the world around me started to sing
I could see the universe unfold
In every hue of blue and gold

The eye spoke to me without words
And my soul was stirred and stirred
I felt a love that knew no bounds
And the magic of the dreamscape surrounds

And then the eye began to fade
But in my heart, its memory stayed
For even in the waking hours
I feel the eye"s vibrant power

It reminds me of the beauty within
Of the magic that lies beneath the skin
And I know that in every dream I keep

Psychedelic Bliss

Beyond The Tides is the fifteenth Iris. Thinking of new ways to implement free-flowing creativity into this collection, I really wanted to combine the mysticism/psychedelic aspects of Iris Illuminata with something more whimsical and adventurous, such as water. 

Here, we see notes of the sea with plant decor, the eye can be seen almost like a sun-like figure providing the light needed to make this piece really shine.

Beyond The Tides

Iris Des Montagnes can be translated to either as simply Mountain Eye, or Iris of the Mountain. That would be a very appropriate name for the latest experimental Iris. This Iris takes on the form of deity in the sky overlooking the mountains below.

A Sight To Behold is the thirteenth Iris to arrive into the collection. Here, we continue a deeper dive into the pyramid, almost Illuminati like, aesthetic designs. Experimentation is key. 

Blue is a color typically seen in my artwork as it is my favorite color, but it has not been seen until now in this much detail.
