Magnificence Of Desert

You see the miracle of nature, a single palm tree in the desert that leads to the sea. This tree was a symbol in the deserts of Irene, unfortunately this tree no longer exists. I took this photo in 2016 in the southernmost desert of Iran called Derak.

These photos are the result of 10 years of photography and travel to desert areas of Iran. Hot and impassable deserts that sometimes reach temperatures of 70 degrees Celsius

The night sky acts like a "time machine", because light moves at a limited speed in the universe and it does not reach us instantaneously from any distant point. In fact, by staring at the stars and galaxies, we are watching their past.

This historic building is an old caravanserai belonging to the Safavid period (about 600 years ago) in the central desert of Iran in Isfahan.
Caravanserai were often built along the Silk Road and played the role of today"s hotels and guest houses, and were a place for caravans, travelers, merchants and pilgrims to rest and stay in the past.
There are many caravanserais in Iran, these caravanserais were established in Iran by the order of Shah Abbas Safavi about 600 years ago.

I captured this photo in the central desert of Iran at a temperature of 48 degrees and very hot and after a few hours of walking.

This historical place was like a place of worship where you could hold the stars with your hands and touch them.

This is Lake Urmia in East Azarbaijan province of Iran, which has now dried up and turned into a salt desert after centuries.
Years ago, this ship used to transfer many passengers to several habitable islands in Lake Urmia.

Lake Urmia had 102 big and small islands, some of which were habitable and life was going on in them, and after the lake dried up, it became uninhabited.

Lake Urmia is an endorheic salt lake in Iran. The lake is located between the provinces of East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan in Iran, and west of the southern portion of the Caspian Sea. At its greatest extent, it was the largest lake in the Middle East and the sixth-largest saltwater lake on Earth, with a surface area of approximately 5,200 km2 (2,000 sq mi), a length of 140 km (87 mi), a width of 55 km (34 mi), and a maximum depth of 16 m (52 ft).

Since 2005, Lake Urmia started to dry up due to unprincipled dam constructions, and now less than 2% of it remains.

In fact, when the light of this distant galaxy was released, neither the earth nor the solar system existed! "Light year" in astronomy is a unit of measurement of distance, it is the distance that light travels in space in one year.

I captured this photo in one of the villages of "Tenkabon" city in the north of Iran after about 1 day of walking and hard climbing on a summer night at an altitude of 3800 meters.

In the background, you can see the famous Siah Kaman mountain range and Alam Kouh peak.

I captured this photo on a beautiful sunflower field in an area called Kalposh.
In summer, sunflower is cultivated in this area and gives a very beautiful effect to this area. The livelihood of the people of this area is provided through agriculture, especially the cultivation of wheat and sunflower.

When the earth revolves around itself, the stars are not in a fixed position (in terms of terrestrial sight) and the stars appear to be in motion, which can be recorded by shooting for several hours and combining them.

The night sky is full of mysteries that if you look at it for hours, you will not get tired of seeing it and a kind of peace will fill your whole being and the stars will smile at you one by one to make you more eager.

I captured this photo on a beautiful sunflower field in an area called Kalposh.
In summer, sunflower is cultivated in this area and gives a very beautiful effect to this area. The livelihood of the people of this area is provided through agriculture, especially the cultivation of wheat and sunflower.

When the earth revolves around itself, the stars are not in a fixed position (in terms of terrestrial sight) and the stars appear to be in motion, which can be recorded by shooting for several hours and combining them.
  In this sequence, which is taken during more than 2 hours of photography, you can also see the color traces of the stars. The color of the star traces actually shows the temperature of the stars, the blue traces belong to the hotter stars and the yellow to red colors belong to the cooler stars.

The night sky is full of mysteries that if you look at it for hours, you will not get tired of seeing it, and a kind of peace pervades your whole being, and the stars smile at you one by one to make you more eager.

The night sky takes us to distant dreams somewhere between the clouds, next to the stars and the moon, and then maybe for a moment we separate from the earth and travel to the heart of the sky and reveal the secrets of the sky.

I captured this photo at an altitude of 4,500 meters on the southern border of the Republic of Azerbaijan on a cold spring night after hours of hard walking and mountaineering.
