Ethernity's Master Collection

Shaq was not just the most dominant big man to play the game - he was an utterly unique athlete, delivering powerful performances with an effortless grace never before seen on a basketball court. In an attempt to capture the ease with which Shaq seemed to play the game, Justin Maller chose to depict Shaq in 1994 playing for Orlando, gleefully swaying from the hoop whilst suspending his 7 foot 1 inch body in the air with just one hand.

One of the most remarkable moments from Shaquille O"Neal and Kobe Bryant"s Los Angeles years came in Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals. With 45 seconds left on the clock, Bryant lobbed the ball over Trailblazers defenders for O"Neal to alley oop, changing the momentum of the game and setting the stage for Los Angeles to win their second Larry O"Brien trophy. O"Neal himself says the moment "solidified" him and Bryant as the "most enigmatic, most controversial, most dominant one-two punch ever created." After scoring the alley oop, O"Neal infamously pointed at the Los Angeles fanbase in celebration. After eight seasons with Los Angeles, O"Neal was traded to Miami, where he joined an up-and-coming star, Dwayne Wade. In his first season with the team (2004-2005), Miami finished the regular season with the best record in the Eastern Conference. Two years later, O"Neal delivered on his promise of a championship. Maller"s Miami version of O"Neal hangs from an eviscerating rim, evoking the swagger and joy with which he made Miami a city of champions.
