Houten rainbow houses - Who doesn't love colors and live a colourful life. When i first look the photo of this place on internet my jaw dropped and i was like really does it really exist in this world. i started digging informations about this place and got to know it's one hour train ride from Amsterdam so i added this place on my bucket list. when i reached there i was bit nervous that people won't let me shoot these houses but they were really friendly and i was lucky to see this beautiful reflection.

it was really awesome, It reflects that life is full of colors no matter where you live and go if your heart is full of colors then life finds it's colors too.

JRNY Magazine was founded during the first months of the pandemic back in 2020 on the bases of supporting and pushing the arts forward during these tough times. We believed in building a community of likeminded creatives from around the globe to produce a travel magazine with a difference. Telling stories that inspire and fire up the wanderlust whilst changing the way travel journalism operates with long form writing, hi-end photography and no advertising, just pure content. Our dedication, innovation and drive to make something unique and special has been recognized within the industry when we were awarded Travel Magazine of the Year for our very first issue. 

JRNY was formed in a web2 world with a web3 mindset, we believe in the power of art, community and support and this belief system is at the core of what JRNY stands for. Because of this it made perfect sense for us to bring JRNY in to web3 and become the first travel magazine to tokenize the entire content of a physical magazine. It has been many months in the planning and we have returned to the drawing board on more than on occasion but we are here now and bringing the world of travel & destination journalism to the blockchain. It has taken longer than expected but it was imperative to us that we got this drop done correctly with the our community in mind whilst making sure we act in a responsible manner to continue to build and support creatives both in web3 and beyond. 

We thought long and hard about how to release our genesis token and finally settled on offering the community an opportunity to collect for nothing. JRNY is for the artists and we dont want anyone to be excluded from becoming part of our journey. Its our way of saying thank you for your support, sticking around during the tough times and all the work you are doing in growing and believing in the web3 space. 

By supporting JRNY Magazine you are playing an active part in helping us support creatives, via assignments, education programs and our collection fund. You will be helping build our digital content output and provide further opportunities for creatives across the board. We are dedicated to the project of bringing JRNY in to web3 and providing improved working methods and opportunities for artists to work and earn from doing what they love.

Holders of the Series 1 token will be entitled to claim the next three issues (issues 5, 6 & 7) via claim pages free of charge within 30 days from publication date of the corresponding issue.

Photographer behind the image: Jordan Banks is a travel and documentary photographer from the UK whose career spans more than two decades and has won multiple awards for his work including the National Geographic Cities Photographer of the year. Jordan regularly shoots for top publications such as National Geographic, BBC, Lonely Planet & The Times as well as being the subject of Sky Arts documentaries on his photography that have been syndicated worldwide. Jordan has shot international campaigns for clients such British Airways, Microsoft, Dropbox, Panasonic and many others. Over the Fog Editions of 10

The large main entrance hall with frescoes everywhere. A baroque and neoclassical villa built from a pre-existing medieval castle. It has housed many different families and has been sold several times. During the Second World War, the villa was attacked by partisans. The reason was a liquor depot that had been hidden there. After the war, the owners returned to live in the villa and restore it to its former glory.

In the late fifties the villa was sold to its last owner. An anonymous Swiss company. Since then the building has not received a new purposeand it is uninhabited and decaying. 

In recent years the villa has been declared a national monument, but although it has been put up for sale, there is no sign of a buyer.

I recently came across the Charity NGO in Iran, "Yarane Hamishegi" which helps less fortunate students and kids by providing books, notebooks, and stationery sets, building a library for them, and a lot of other help for their education and well-being,  
 
this NGO has been active for more than 10 years and they Helped a lot of kids in the Past few years in Sistan & Baluchistan region in Iran

now they are funding an educational package for children, each package contains 4 pencils, 4 pens, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, 5 notebooks, a coloring pencils pack, and a small bag for only 3 Dollars!! 

this Edition piece is a token of appreciation in a form of an open Edition, 100% of the earning will go to this NGO and I will send the further report about their performance to all the collectors.

Feeling of Relief

I"m a French professional photographer living in the Westfjords of Iceland, the most remote region of the country. During the last 10 years, I"ve been involved in scientific studies conducted by the Nature institute of Iceland and have extensively documented the harsh life of the Arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus) in Iceland.  

"Surviving" is a portrait of a blue morph Arctic fox taken in July 2021. The strength of the fox"s gaze emphasizes the animal"s determination and the resilience needed to survive in such a harsh environment. 

All proceeds of this open edition will be added to the fund I created to publish a book about Arctic foxes and help spreading awareness about their conservation.
