As a painter, I have always depicted paintings that exist in real space based on the theme of ICHI-GO ICHI-E(once-in-a-lifetime encounter). The theme I have chosen for the NFT project is the ICHI-GO ICHI-E that is possible only with digital technology.For the artwork presented in this project, I dared to thoroughly lower the resolution of my paintings.By daring to lower the resolution of the actual work, I attempted to create a paradox in which the work seen on the digital screen becomes a colorful situation with a higher resolution than the actual work. In addition, the artwork is a moving image, expressing the shifting time on the digital screen. STATE OF THE ART is the first large scale hybrid collection by ThankYouX. This project reimagines the use of blockchain technology as a medium rather than a tool for distribution. The collection consists of four large scale paintings broken up into 400 tiles each creating 1600 total unique digital artworks that come paired with their physical counterpart. Upon mint, participants will randomly receive a singular digital tile corresponding with a section of one of the four paintings. Later, collectors will be able to claim the identical physical artwork.

STATE OF THE ART consists of four large scale paintings broken up into 400 tiles each, creating 1600 total unique digital artworks that come paired with their physical counterpart. Upon launch, participants will randomly receive a singular digital tile corresponding with a section of one of the four paintings. Later, collectors will be able to claim the identical physical artwork. Before the physical claim, users will have the ability to work directly with the secondary market to purchase additional, adjacent, and connecting tiles to merge, and claim a larger section of the canvas.

Mosh Pit 2000

Dan Witz"s "Mosh Pit 2000" is from his world-renowned series of paintings exploring the chaotic beauty of the hardcore punk music scene. The pieces in this series are characterized by their intense and almost claustrophobic compositions, with bodies tightly packed together and writhing in a frenzy of baroque movement. Mosh Pit 2000 was featured in a collaboration with the luxury fashion brand Dior. 

The painting is based on photographs the artist took in actual mosh pits, which were then collaged and painstakingly painted to create a new, hyper-realistic image. The result is a piece that feels both gritty and dreamlike, capturing the energy and emotion of the mosh pit in a way that is both visceral and otherworldly.
