The Infrared Journey Somewhere In Between

The picture shows a scene at the train station in Navadvip, taken shortly after arriving on the night train in 2022. Navadvip is a city in West Bengal, India. It is located on the banks of the Ganges River and is an important pilgrimage site for followers of the Hindu faith. The city is known for its temples and is a popular destination for pilgrims from all over the world. Navadvip is also an important place for followers of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition and is home to the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, a monastery that serves as a center of devotion and spiritual practice. The city is of historical and cultural significance and is a place appreciated by travelers, pilgrims, and spiritual seekers alike.  
The extraordinary infrared image contrasts the trees and the train station against the blue sky, giving them an almost unreal quality.
