For both campaign creators and contributors, Fabric will now display a checkmark on profiles that have verified links on NFTD - making it easier to see who you are and learn more about the things youre working on.

Youll also now be able to add your verified Fabric campaign (via wallet proof) to your NFTD profiles. Fabric campaigns that are ongoing will flash with a live indicator, and the currently funded amount will be dynamically displayed in the link.

It was important for us to integrate identity verification infrastructure that was transparent, crypto-native, and non-intrusive.

Much more to come from both Fabric & NFTD in making it easier to create and collaborate with others.

Tangerine Dream

Tangerine Dream is an ode to my hometown, Boston. This song represents how the place where I grew up has amplified my drive and helped me dream bigger as I rise as an independent musician.  

When I wrote the record in 2018, I had never done an overseas show or traveled for my music before. I had hardly any streams but still felt confident that my music would take me around the world one day. Fast forward to 2023, I"ve done 40+ shows in both the US and Europe and have performed in front of thousands of people. I can easily attribute the manifestation of those experiences to the lyrics written and performed in this song.

As I write this, Tangerine Dream has amassed 2.9 million streams on Spotify alone. Its an accomplishment that I can proudly say was achieved with no marketing, no management, and no label. 

Still independent. Still chasing the highest of heights. I hope this song brings as much magic into your life as it has mine.

What"s a (natural) number? What does it look like?

We represent numbers with symbols like 3, III,  or .

We are aware of objects that have a numeric property: Squares have 4 sides.

But, what about the number itself? What is it? What does it look like?

In 1923, John von Neumann proposed a set-theoretic construction of natural numbers: We can start with the empty set to represent 0, and then create each next object as the set containing all previous numbers. In a way, creating every natural number, a whole universe, out of "empty".

0 = {}
1 = { {} }
2 = {0, 1} = { {}, {{}} },
3 = {0, 1, 2} = { {}, {{}}, { {}, {{}} } }
...and so on.

Number9 is a creative interpretation of number 9, based on von Neumann"s construction. Each closed shape is a set. Empty circles are empty sets. Think of it as 9"s blueprint: An elegant, simple and easy to understand construction with fractal properties.

Number9 an open edition accessible to everyone. Let"s spread an idea worth spreading beyond mathematicians.
