Diamond Exhibition

Remnants of a Distant Dream is a diptych consisting of two artworks titled "Lucidity" and "Transcendence." Together, they explore the ephemeral nature of human aspirations and the passage of time. They serve as an ode to the transient and fragile nature of our collective memory, emphasizing the importance of embracing change and remaining curious.

The works were created using a mixed-media process that seamlessly blends generative code, hand-drawn elements and digital collage. Combined with the introduction of new tools and techniques to the artists process, this approach reflects the constant interplay between past, present, and future, further underscoring the need to adapt and remain open to new possibilities in the ever-evolving human experience.

A collection of 10,000 utility-enabled PFPs that feature a richly diverse and unique pool of rarity-powered traits. What's more, each Moonbird unlocks private club membership and additional benefits the longer you hold them. We call it nesting  because, obviously.

Moonbirds is the art collectors PFP. Each of the 10,000 digital artworks in the collection grants holders access to unique experiences to connect with artists and own and champion their art. As a community, Moonbirds is a home for creatives, dreamers, and collectors seeking real connection as we all contribute to the future of web3 art, culture, and technology.

Moonbird art is entirely in-chain, meaning the images are outputted directly from the smart contract, with no need for storage on IPFS or the like. There are also a number of customisable backgrounds available to holders based on their on-chain activity (such as other NFT holdings)which disappear when the bird is transferred. PigeonArt By Aaron Blaisdell. PigeonArt was born when Darwin, a pigeon in Dr. Blaisdell's Comparative Cognition Lab, spontaneously opened the Paint App and produced his first artistic creation. We used that serendipitous discovery to pivot to the study of how pigeons generate digital art. We've certainly learned a lot along the way. The pigeons are great teachers! The pigeons' art studio is a touchscreen-equipped operant chamber. Our team developed an art app for the pigeons to create art. The pigeons can peck at the screen and leave digital marks. The marks vary in color, shape, and line width. Our artists create art out of the sheer joy of it, and receive no food or other extrinsic reward for making art. This is our genesis drop of pigeon art, with many more to come. The mission of this drop is to fund our research exploring how and why pigeons make digital art, as well as to fund research on the Animal Mind. We want to raise awareness of the creativity and imaginative insight of pigeons and other animals. 100% of the net proceeds of the primary sale as well as all sales on secondary markets will be directed directly back into funding the lab research. There has never been a better time for science and art to intersect than now with the arrival of web3 and its decentralized economy!
