Reflection introduces a new direction in machine creativity and generative art that the artist Pindar Van Arman calls 'Reflective AI.' How can generative AI art transcend algorithmic determinism and achieve pure emergence? The Reflective AI system leverages feedback loops and multimodal mark-making, reflecting on the canvas in realtime. Over the course of thousands of marks, Reflection thinks by doing in an attempt to present a synthetic embodiment of a creative thought process.

The digital component of Reflection is built with a unique long-form generative approach that utilizes inputs from the physical canvas. The system captures stages of the painting process, translates them to a digital format, and composes them on mint. All artworks are 100% on-chain.

Reflection seeks to show that generative art can embody true emergence, on-chain art can be highly detailed, and AI art can touch the source of creation.

How would you design an album if every track was meant to change?
 
Altered is the first audio visual Music Blueprints project that explores the concept of a non-concrete album. Created with 30+ collaborators and over 6600 possible unique combinations derived from 11 songs, Altered is one step further into an immersive and surreal album experience with every mint. 
 
Each song generated finds Ricky Lake in a new dreamlike environment comprised of visual elements, created by Wables using dall*e, and representing his collaborators. This includes the possibility for different producers, features, bass lines, drum patterns, genres, remixes, audio effects, and more, all represented uniquely and often.

Absolution

There isn't a specific message I intend to convey through my art. I craft my art within the context of a self-constructed narrative, an invented storyline. In this creative process, I employ various elements and a diverse array of tools to build layers. The resulting artwork is meant for enjoyment, inviting viewers to sit in front of it and contemplate. Stepping into the image signifies entering another world, temporarily disconnecting from the routine of everyday life.

The broader narrative surrounding "Absolution" serves as an additional layer of meaning within the artwork. I'm not seeking to preach or dictate a particular point of view. Instead, I aim to present what I've encountered on this creative journeywords and images that provide contemporary commentary. These reflections stem from the perspective of an artist navigating a world filled with AI-generated images and a parent raising children in a world rife with conflicts, where distinctions between right and wrong are muddied by the prevalence of misinformation. As a human being, I'm concerned about the myriad challenges I encounter daily, but I'm also filled with hope in the potential and creativity of the younger generation and in the beauty that humanity is still capable of creating.

Ive been working in one file for months on end. Adding images, re-working them. Looking, playing, sculpting. You can see me looking for something in the Time-lapse I"ve published on YouTube:

Although I never know what that something is. I spend time with the images I feel attracted to or that have something to say to me at that present time. I use images I find both on and offline, and moments, or situations I am in. Therefore, you can see me drawing my children and wife, but also, some random images that were suited in that time and space with that crowd of people.
For this blueprint, I"ve made a layer setup with the 51 "states" from the different layers I"ve worked on and in on that particular file. At first, it was called 24, because I thought about making 24 different pieces from these layers, but as time passed I thought 24 pieces was very limiting, and also, seeing to the potential of what these layers can do in this Async Blueprint setup, was just mind-bending.
The pieces that come out of the randomizer are just beautiful. I love the fact  that I"m not being able to control what the machine does with randomizing it in this way. It feels like I"m working together with someone I already knew, but never met.


I want you to play around and have fun with this setup and be amazed by the result you can mint from the layers I"ve put in.


I grant both personal and commercial rights of the 51 Layers.  The license entitle owners to remix, adapt, build upon the material in any medium or format as long as attribution/credit is properly listed.


I will mint some gifs from this blueprint on SuperRare in the Future. They can be seen as part of this series, but without the freedom of IP.

Cypherdudes is a generative cryptoart series paying tribute to the Cypherpunk movement, which has been campaigning for the protection of privacy on the internet since the early 90s, and was behind the creation of bitcoin in 2008.This series takes up the graphic universe of a character that I invented and gained some popularity in the crypto art scene : the cryptodude.A personification of crypto culture, the Cypherdude performs actions that visually translate the expressions and behaviors specific to this ecosystem.Each work in the series is unique and generated from an algorithm hosted directly on the blockchain. The parameters composing each work are selected from a wide range of elements created individually by myself and combined in a seeded random way. Each seed is determined by the blockchain on mint.The work and the Message.Each owner of a work from the series has access to a hidden feature : the ability to inscribe an encrypted message in the work itself. The encryption key is decided by the owner on every inscription. This message can then only be decoded by a recipient knowing the key. This way, the work becomes a veritable tool at the service of its owner, who, by using it, makes it evolve visually using a simple steganographic technique.The Cypherdudes thus becomes the visual witness to the presence of a message, and its digital security vault.
