For me, exploring decay also means accepting transience. Death, as sad as it often makes us, is part of our world. In the end, we will all have to bow to our fate. So why not embrace death and show him that we do not fear him and his presence.

Chasing Thor Edition

A figure stands alone on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Devil"s Teeth. A FLASH of lightning and a thunderous CLAP echo through the mountains as Thor makes his presence known to all.

This piece was created from an image I took in Norway. The original photograph was captured at sunset however I felt the sky was unfitting for such an epic scene. As a fan of Norse mythology, I chose to give the image a bit more connection to the location and added in the lightning as an ode to Thor, the god of thunder and lightning.

Once embedded, deeply believed...  
...one would ask, yet never receive.  
Cope with loss, cope with grief...  
...succumb to self by way of the inner thief.  

Time & space, space & time...  
...nothingness in all of its might.  
Seemingly always this vessel awaits,   
Eager to shine in the darkest of nights.
